2019 Sachs Program Grants Evaluation Committee Members

This year, for our 2019 grants, we employed a two-stage review process to evaluate grant applications. We first sought feedback from a series of committees – made up of members of the Penn community, including former grantees, faculty, staff, and students – and then the final decisions were made by the Sachs Program Advisory Board. We would like to thank and acknowledge the committee members for their important contributions to this process.

Anthony Sorrentino, Assistant Vice President, Office of the EVP; Bea Huff Hunter, Senior Staff Writer, Wharton; Brooke Sietinsons, Office of Communications, SAS; Carol Muller, Professor of Music, SAS; Dagmawi Woubshet, Ahuja Family Presidential Associate Professor of English, SAS; David Comberg, Senior Lecturer, Fine Arts, Weitzman School of Design; David Fox, Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania in Theatre Arts, and Director of the Penn Reading Project and New Student Orientation; Kate Kraczon, Laporte Associate Curator, ICA; Laurie McCall, Director, Platt Student Performing Arts House; Leo Charney, Executive Director of Communications, Office of the Provost; Lucy Corlett, Student, SAS; Luis Bravo, Student, SAS; Marion Leary, Director of Innovation, Penn Nursing; Melissa Maza, Student, SAS; Sharon Lorenzo, Adjunct Professor of Law, Penn Law; Simone White, Assistant Professor of English, SAS; Stephen Lane, Professor of Practice, Director, Computer Graphics and Game Technology Masters Program, SEAS; Toorjo Ghose, Associate Professor, Penn School of Social Policy & Practice
