Arts Lounge at the Annenberg
The Arts Lounge at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is a hub for the creative community at the University of Pennsylvania, co-developed and managed by The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation and Penn Live Arts. Its creation was part of a two-million-dollar renovation of Annenberg Center public spaces completed in 2021 and made possible by a generous gift from alumni Keith and Kathy Sachs. The space also serves as a physical centerpiece for The Sachs Program’s goals to support creative communities at Penn and increase visibility for the arts on campus.
The Arts Lounge features dedicated exhibition space and infrastructure, equipment and support for programming, inviting new furniture and lighting, a commissioned mural by Philadelphia artist Isaac Tin Wei Lin, and a coffee cart featuring local coffee and snacks.
