Ekaterina Derysheva will produce new poems to complete her manuscript, Poetic Prisms, in Russian. Derisheva’s poetry explores language as a tool to represent the dimensions of reality, where words are treated as objects with potential. This project bridges phenomenology, avant-garde, and experimental poetics, creating multifaceted texts that evoke spatial, visual, and sensory impressions. The resulting works resemble slowed, multidimensional videos where associative links and layered imagery evoke perceptions akin to viewing a photograph or painting. The completed manuscript will also be translated into English by a collaborative team, expanding its accessibility to a broader audience. The funding will support the production of Poetic Prisms, a work that merges language, perception, and art into a cohesive, boundary-pushing poetic form.
