Velocity Fund Applications Due to Temple Contemporary June 1In 2017, The Velocity Fund was established by Temple Contemporary at the Tyler School of Art with the support of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts becoming the 12th Regional Regranting Program nationwide. The Velocity Fund directly supports artists to organize new collaborative projects throughout the city of Philadelphia by awarding grants up to $5000. Applications are due June 1.

ICA Philadelphia Becomes First Museum Certified by W.A.G.E.The Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania will be the first museum certified by W.A.G.E. (Working Artists and the Greater Economy), the New York–based activist organization that advocates for artists to receive fair compensation from the institutions that contract their work.
