The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation will host an information session to discuss our 2024 Annual Grants and answer questions about the application process and how proposed projects might align with our grantmaking priorities and criteria.
Co-hosted by Sachs Program staff and former grantees, this event will be presented in The Arts Lounge at the Annenberg Center on Thursday, November 9, 4–6 PM a rescheduled date to be announced.
This event is free and open to the University of Pennsylvania community. Free snacks and drinks will be available. Registration is encouraged, but is not required to attend.

Sachs Program Annual Grants
At the beginning of October 2023, The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation announced the opening of the 2023–2024 annual grant cycle, which includes a February 5 February 9, 2024, application deadline for 2024 Annual Grants.
The Sachs Program Annual Grants include a range of opportunities to support University of Pennsylvania faculty and staff, departments, programs and centers, and collaborations with community partners and student groups.
Our 2023–2024 annual grant cycle offers grant opportunities in five categories.
- Artist Residency Grants
- Community Partnerships Grants
- Curricular Support Grants
- Independent Creative Production Grants
- Project Support Grants
Please note an additional information session for specifically reviewing 2024 Community Partnerships Grants is also scheduled for Thursday, November 16, noon–1 PM.
The Sachs Program also offers grant opportunities for students with our Student Grants, which follow a slightly different schedule during the annual grant cycle.
All Sachs Program grants support innovative arts activities throughout the University of Pennsylvania community, aligned with our mission to support and inspire creative practice and practitioners across the university and our broader community.
