Student Creative Production Grant
Building on their existing collaborations with partner Philadelphia public schools, BioArt Lab will expand its programming by developing a series of hands-on art-science sessions throughout the academic year, culminating in a public symposium. The BioArt Lab: Art of Science Symposium will showcase student creations from workshops with middle and high school students and feature pioneering speakers at the intersection of art and science. Selected works from a community call for submissions will be displayed in exhibition spaces alongside student creations, highlighting the power of art-science integration in education and exploration. Artists, scientists, educators, and community partners will be invited to share and learn about each other’s work through talks, demonstrations, and guided workshops, expanding students’ understanding of the field and offering pathways for mentorship and future collaboration.
