Psycheprocity: Designing for Psychedelics and Psychedelics for Design will establish a creative base of work within psychedelics and design through fieldwork, workshops, and case studies. Exploring the intersection between art, design, and psychedelics, this project incorporates the unique perspective of landscape architecture. It will examine Psychedelics as Creative Catalysts: exploring their ability to enhance divergent thinking and reduce assumptions, fostering breakthroughs in creative problem-solving – and also Design for Psychedelics: investigating how design thinking and environmental design can enhance and direct psychedelic experiences. The project will use the landscape architect’s toolkit and pedagogy as a mediator between human and ‘nature’ to develop conceptual designs, diagrams, and visualisations.
