A new season of the arts at Penn

October 20, 2023

Cover illustration is based on a large public sculpture by Tony Smith (We Lost, 1966, painted steel), installed at the Singh Center For Nanotechnology and a prominent artwork in the University of Pennsylvania Art Collection. Illustration by Claire Iltis.

Join the arts community at the University of Pennsylvania for a new season of exhibitions, performances, public art, and visiting artists. A range of artists will be featured across campus, including David Antonio Cruz, Moyra Davey, Dorrance Dance, Mikel Elam, Khaled Mattawa, Christian McBride, Laurence Salzmann, Evie Shockley, Barbara Earl Thomas, Jessica Vaughn, and many more.

To keep up to date with the arts at Penn, subscribe to The Sachs Program for Arts Innovation newsletter. We publish a regular rundown of the latest performances, talks, workshops, and notable news in the arts at Penn.

We recently also produced a printed brochure highlighting some of the year’s top events. You may have seen it in a recent New York Times print edition or around the Penn campus. If not, be sure to download a copy of the brochure at the link below for a quick look at the upcoming year in the arts at the University of Pennsylvania.
