Ken Lum Appointed to Marilyn Jordan Taylor Presidential ProfessorshipKen Lum, professor and chair of fine arts, has been appointed the Marilyn Jordan Taylor Presidential Professor, a new endowed position named in honor of former Dean Marilyn Taylor. The professorship was made possible by Weitzman Overseers Bill Witte (C’73, GCP’85), Matthew Nord (W’01), and Barbara van Beuren (March’87).

Two Monumental Sculptures Arrive on CampusTwo additional large-scale sculptures now adorn Penn’s campus. Installed during the summer and on loan for 99 years from the Association for Public Art (aPA) after being moved from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, they join Penn’s large public artscape as part of the green urban landscape.

Stuart Weitzman School of Design to Honor Award RecipientsThe University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design has selected KPF cofounder A. Eugene Kohn as the 2019 recipient of the Kanter Tritsch Medal for Excellence in Architecture and Environmental Design, and the Regional Plan Association's (RPA) Fourth Regional Plan as the inaugural recipient of the Witte-Sakamoto Family Medal in City and Regional Planning.
