Herman Beavers and Suzana Berger expanded their Academically Based Community Service (ABCS) course that uses August Wilson’s 20th Century Cycle of plays, allowing them to bring multi-generational West Philadelphia residents into an extended conversation with Penn Students. August Wilson & Beyond ran in the fall of 2018 and culminated in an original performance.
