William Udell will create a series of workshops on a range of fabrication techniques, open to all members of the Penn community, which will provide an interdisciplinary platform for students of varied disciplines to participate in hands-on making through the lens of sculpture. The framework of this series will encourage an interdisciplinary/expansive approach for each participant to bring back to their respective discipline. Additionally, the workshops will encourage a more inclusive community within the sculpture program itself, one that is reflective of contemporary sculptural practices and processes and of the diverse student body at the University of Pennsylvania.
