Penn Ballet: Winter Showcase will be a production of student choreographed pieces and classical excerpts from The Nutcracker. Penn Ballet Company is an independent, student-run ballet company of twenty-three dancers committed to bringing the beauty of ballet to the UPenn campus. As Penn’s only classical ballet company, they perform twice annually. Typically, the Spring show is Penn Ballet’s main outlet for creativity where their dancers are able to present original choreography. But with this grant, Penn Ballet will have the opportunity to additionally make their Fall 2025 performance a showcase of original choreography by company members and collaborate with student musicians.
