Important Deadlines

Below is a list of important deadlines and milestones for our 2021 grant cycle.

Student Grants

  • Student Grants
    Student Grant applications are due November 20, 2020 and February 19, 2021
  • Ben Art Bucks
    Currently suspended due to COVID. Contact Tamara Suber at sachsgrants@gmail.com for more information

Annual Grants

Curricular Support Grants, Independent Creative Production, Project Grants, and Artist Residency Grants

  • December 20, 2020
    Application meetings must be scheduled by December 20 (meetings can take place afterwards, so long as they are scheduled before)
  • January 6, 2021
    Deadline for optional draft submission (for substantive feedback on an application)
  • January 8, 2021
    Application meetings with Sachs Program staff must be completed by this date
  • January 27, 2021
    Deadline for annual grant application submissions 
  • Early February 2021
    Sachs Program staff will review and provide limited feedback on submitted applications
  • March – April 2021
    Grant applications will be evaluated by Sachs Program Committees and adjudicated by The Sachs Program Advisory Board
  • Early April 2021
    We notify applicants of the status of their applications
  • Late April 2021
    We publicly announce the 2020 grant recipients (date TBD)
  • Summer 2021
    Optional applicant feedback meetings take place

Additional Grants

  • First-Year Seminar Grants
    Spring seminar grant applications will be announced in late Fall.
  • Responsive Grant Opportunities
    Specific campaigns and deadlines will be announced this semester
  • Rolling Grants
    Currently available, decisions will be made on a case by case basis
