Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts

Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Zellerbach Theatre.

The Annenberg Center at the University of Pennsylvania serves as a venue for student performing arts groups, the Theatre Arts Program, and other university partners, in addition to the Annenberg Center’s own curated performances and co-presented performances.

The Annenberg Center is one of the nation’s foremost urban performing arts centers on a major university campus, serving as a cultural destination in Philadelphia and connecting regional audiences and the University through a broad range of programs in theatre, music and dance. In fulfillment of its mission, the Annenberg Center engages world-renowned and emerging artists who express adventuresome perspectives on contemporary issues and timeless ideas and who further the Annenberg Center’s commitment to artistic and intellectual excellence, diversity and education for adult, student and family audiences.

The Annenberg Center has three theatres: the Zellerbach, the Prince, and the Montgomery. On any given day, there could be events taking place in all three. In addition to the Annenberg Center’s own curated performances and their co-presented performances with NextMove Dance, the Center serves as a venue for student performing arts groups, the Theatre Arts Program, and other university partners.
