WXPN and World Café Live

WXPN is a member-supported radio station from the University of Pennsylvania and the nation’s leading Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music programmer. The station produces the award-winning WORLD CAFÉ ®, a two-hour daily radio show syndicated to more than 230 stations nationwide by NPR. Students can enjoy live music events at World Café Live, including the XPN FREE AT NOON series of broadcast concerts every Friday with artists like Dr Dog, Adele, Yo La Tengo, Bat For Lashes, and Passion Pit. WXPN also offers Penn students a variety of internships and work-study opportunities in areas such as radio programming, festival production, marketing, and sports journalism.
