Platt Student Performing Arts House

The Platt House is also home to the Performing Arts Council, an umbrella organization for 46 student-run comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, singing, and music organizations staging about 100 events each year.

The Platt House is home to the Performing Arts Council, an umbrella organization for 46 student-run comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, singing, and music organizations staging about 100 events each year. All student performances, master classes, trainings, and social events are listed on the Platt House’s Events Calendar.

Platt Student Performing Arts House offers a supportive programmatic home for creative exploration and expression. Platt House staff advise and train students pursuing their extra-curricular passions for the performing arts and those preparing for a career in the arts. The Platt House is also home to the Performing Arts Council, an umbrella organization for 46 student-run comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, singing, and music organizations staging about 100 events each year.

Platt Student Performing Arts House also coordinates a number of programs that offer opportunities for students to engage in arts and culture communities at Penn and throughout Philadelphia. All student performances, master classes, trainings, and social events are listed on the Platt House’s Events Calendar.
